The cottage is a minute's walk away from Canterbury city centre, which has ample restaurants, cafes, the beautiful Stour river, and art supplies shops. Trains from London run every half an hour, and take just under one hour to Canterbury West station (a 12-minute walk from the cottage) or under 1.5 hours to Canterbury East station (a one-minute walk). The nearest Eurostar station is Ashford International, which has a direct 15-minute connection to Canterbury West station. There is off-street parking for those coming by car.
